Experience magical Killarney

HOTELS:

 Day One:

Arrive in Dublin for dinner and overnight at the excellent family run Skylon Hotel.

Day Two:

After a morning in Dublin where you can choose to join a guided city tour or simply take in some of the sights at leisure, you then journey through Portlaoise en route to the medieval town of Cashel, home to the iconic  Rock of Cashel.  After a short stop, continue on to Killarney where you settle in for four nights at the welcoming Eviston House Hotel.   This special family-run hotel is at the heart of the town and has great entertainment every evening for you to enjoy in the popular Danny Mann Lounge.

Day Three:

Today you are in for a treat as you set off on a sensational one hundred mile drive around some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes along the Atlantic coast.   Watch the scenery roll by as you journey through pretty villages, market towns and historical sights,   Your journey returns through the famed Molls Gap, stunning Ladies View and Killarney National Park.   It is here that you may choose to join a cruise on Lough Leane or maybe take a ride on one of the famous horse drawn jaunting cards.   Back to the Eviston House Hotel for dinner, entertainment and overnight.

Day Four:

You can spend the day relaxing at the hotel or venture out to explore the charming town of Killarney and do some shopping.   Dinner, entertainment and overnight at the Eviston House Hotel.

Day Five:

You head westwards to call in at Slea Head from where you can get dramatic views out towards the rugged Blasket Islands, known as the ‘next parish to America’.   Then its off to explore the Dingle Peninsula, where the beautiful coastline and landscapes were used in the epic film ‘Ryan’s Daughter’.   On your return you will pass ancient sites, early Christian dwellings as well as the picturesque harbour town of Dingle, home to Fungi the Dolphin.   Back to Killarney for dinner, entertainment and overnight at the Eviston House Hotel.

Day Six:

It is time to leave Killarney.   Your journey home takes you past the Glanaruddery and Mullaghareirk Mountains to call into the town of Adare.   This picture-postcard village is dotted with charming traditional thatched cottages and is a delight to explore.   You can now relax as you head back across the Counties of Limerick, Tipperary and Kildare to reach Dublin where you have dinner and overnight in the Skylon Hotel.

Day Seven:

After a hearty breakfast, it is time to go home
